Privacy Policy

We collect what we need to run a travel-nurse exchange: your account, profile, listings, messages, job-alert preferences, and payment records. We do not sell your data. We do not share your contact information with other users without your action. You can edit or delete your data at any time.

From you directly

• Account: name, email, password (hashed), role (nurse, facility, agency, housing host).
• Nurse profiles: specialty, shift preference, location, pay expectations, experience, licenses, and credentials you upload.
• Facility & housing listings: organization, role, pay, location, housing details, rates, and photos.
• Job alerts: the search criteria you save so we can email matching assignments.
• Messages: the content of conversations you send through the platform.
• Payments: billing email and transaction records processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number.

Automatically

• Basic device and browser information needed to keep sessions secure.
• Aggregate usage we use to improve the service (we do not build individual behavioral profiles to sell).

• To show your profile, listings, and housing to the right people.
• To email you job-alert matches you asked for, account notices, and (for paid accounts) billing receipts.
• To let you message other users — messages are only seen by the people in the conversation.
• To operate, secure, and improve the platform.
• To meet legal obligations and respond to verified requests.

• Public: job and housing listings, facility directory entries, and (if you choose) your nurse profile.
• Other users: only the contact details you choose to share in a message or application. Your email is never auto-shared with a facility until you apply or message them.
• Our team: limited staff access for support, trust and safety, and backups. Access is role-based and audited.

When you save a job alert, we email you when matching assignments are posted. You can edit or turn off alerts from your account at any time, and every alert email includes a way to unsubscribe. We do not sell or rent your email to third parties.

Paid plans and housing listings are billed through Stripe. Payment processing is governed by Stripe's privacy policy. We receive a receipt reference and billing email; we never see or store your full card number.

• Active accounts: your data stays while your account is active.
• Deleted accounts: we remove your profile, alerts, and messages within 30 days of deletion, except where we must keep records for fraud prevention or legal obligations.
• Backups: we keep encrypted backups of platform content for recovery; backups are pruned on a schedule and never used for marketing.

• Access & edit: view and update your profile, alerts, and listings from your account.
• Delete: you can delete your account, which removes your personal data as described above.
• Marketing: we send only operational emails (alerts, account, billing). We do not send unsolicited marketing to your inbox.
• Opt out: turn off job alerts or unsubscribe from any alert email at any time.
• If you are a U.S. resident with a data request, email us and we will respond within 30 days.

We use row-level access controls on our database, encrypted connections, and role-based staff access. No method is perfectly secure, but we design the platform to limit exposure — for example, your email is never exposed to facilities until you act, and your phone number never appears in public directory data.

StaffUpStat is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has registered, email us and we will remove the account.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
