Terms of Service

By creating an account, posting a listing, sending a message, or otherwise using StaffUpStat ("we," "us," or "the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to everyone on the platform — travel nurses, facilities, staffing agencies, and housing hosts.

StaffUpStat is a travel-nurse exchange that connects nurses with open assignments, furnished housing, and facility reviews. We show weekly pay, housing rates, and facility information so nurses can compare options openly. We are not an employer, a staffing agency, a landlord, or a party to any assignment, lease, or contract that results from a connection made on the platform.

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in the United States.
• One account per person. Sharing or transferring accounts is not allowed.
• Keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Nurses are not charged to search, apply, set alerts, or message. Paid plans apply only to facilities, agencies, and housing hosts who post listings.
• We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, post false information, or harass other users.

Facilities, agencies, and housing hosts are responsible for the accuracy of every listing they post — pay, shift, specialty, dates, location, and housing details. Pay and rate figures must reflect what you genuinely offer. You may not post assignments or properties you do not have the right to fill or rent.

We may remove or hide any listing that is inaccurate, misleading, duplicated, or that violates these terms, without notice.

Nurses are responsible for keeping their profile, licenses, and credentials accurate and current. StaffUpStat does not verify licenses; that remains the responsibility of the hiring facility or agency. Incomplete profiles or expired licenses may be hidden from the directory automatically.

• Nurses do not pay to search, apply, set job alerts, or message.
• Facilities can post up to 3 roles free. Pro is $149/month and Agency is $399/month, billed through Stripe. See pricing for current plans.
• Housing hosts can list a furnished rental for $99 per year.
• Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops future billing but is not refunded for the current period.

A booking request or housing inquiry on StaffUpStat is an introduction, not a confirmed reservation. The lease or rental agreement is between you and the host. Hosts set their own rates, availability, and house rules. StaffUpStat is not a party to any lease and does not guarantee availability, condition, or payment.

• Do not post false, misleading, discriminatory, or unlawful content.
• Do not harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
• Do not use the service to recruit outside our platform for the purpose of avoiding fees.
• Do not scrape, copy, or resell our listings, profiles, or data.
• Do not share another person's contact information without their consent.

StaffUpStat is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that every listing is filled, that every booking is honored, or that pay or housing figures are error-free. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free access. You use the service at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StaffUpStat is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any assignment, lease, payment, or interaction with another user. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Members can invite other nurses with a personal invite link. A referral counts as "confirmed" only when the invited nurse confirms their own email address and holds a real, distinct nurse account. Duplicate inboxes, self-invites, and inactive or removed accounts do not count.

Every reward is paid as a Starbucks or Visa eGift card sent by email. The brand for each tier is shown on the Referral Rewards page. There is no cash option, no bank transfer, and no check. Cards cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or resold, and they are subject to the card issuer's own terms (Starbucks' card terms for Starbucks cards, and the issuing bank's terms for Visa prepaid cards, which may include expiration or inactivity fees).

When cards are sent. A reward is recorded the moment you cross a tier. Every reward is then reviewed by a person before it is paid — this is how we catch duplicate or fraudulent referrals. Approved cards are normally emailed within 5 business days of the reward being earned, and always within 30 days. The card goes to the email address on your StaffUpStat account, so keep it current. If a card bounces or is never claimed, we may reissue it once on request within 90 days.

Taxes. Referral rewards are a thank-you gift, not wages. You are responsible for any tax that applies to you. We do not withhold tax and do not issue tax forms for these cards.

Disputing a payout. If a reward is missing, declined, or a card never arrives, email questions@staffupstat.com within 60 days of the date the reward was earned, with your account email and the names or emails of the nurses you referred. We will review and reply within 10 business days. If we agree a reward was missed, we issue the card; if we uphold the decision, we will tell you why. Our decision on eligibility is final, and we may withhold or reverse rewards obtained through fake accounts, bought lists, spam, or any other abuse.

We can change the reward amounts, the tiers, or end the program at any time. Rewards already earned and approved before a change will still be paid.

We may update features, pricing, or these terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
